This hands-on interactive workshop will give you the kind of herbal manufacturing experience a book simply can't teach you! Where you'll get to make your own traditionally infused oils and the confidence you'll need to continue on your herbal journey.
For those who are interested in creating decadent moisturizing oils for the skin, face and hair.
Today, you'll gather and harvest fresh herbs, talk about how to process herbs to begin manufacturing and the best ways to prepare your harvest, to make your own infused oils at home, giving you a long lasting correctly preserved remedy that embodies the essence of your favourite plants.
We'll be experimenting too!! to find the limits as to what can be infused in oil for topical and culinary uses. The possibilities are endless!
This class goes through the process step by step, so you'll have the knowledge and understanding to make your own oil extracts at home.
Sunday 22nd October 2017. The class runs for 4 hours from 9.30am to 1.30pm, with morning tea at 11-11.30am. Try to arrive 10minutes prior to have a cuppa and to settle in.
Early Bird Price $75 Ends 12th October, $95.00 includes your own DIY Oil Infusion box with info booklet on how to make herbal oil infusions from fresh and dry herbs, as well as morning tea. You'll also get extensive Q&A time with our Master Herbalist, to have all your questions answered on the day and take home the oils you make on the day.
What to bring
A calculator, notebook, hat and closed in shoes as we will be spending some time in our garden with over 72 medicinal varieties.
